Academic Qualifications and Registration
I completed my MA (Counselling Psychology) at Rhodes University in 2021 and I am registered as a Counselling Psychologist (PS 0151902).
I am trained in BWRT Level 1.
Work Experience
I completed my internship at Rhodes Student Counselling Centre and have since been working in a private practice consulting outpatients and inpatients at various psychiatric hospitals.
Interests
I work with children, adolescents and adults facing various psychological difficulties including but not limited to:
- Depression and anxiety disorders
- Adjustment disorders
- Major life challenges
- Grief and bereavement
- Career Counselling
Therapeutic Approaches
My work is predominantly informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I make use of various techniques from different kinds of therapy modalities to fit my client's individual needs. I work collaboratively with clients because I believe people are experts in their own lives and have the resources needed to reach their psychological well being.

I am fluent in isiXhosa, isiZulu, English and speak minimal seSotho and sePedi.
